Should you make a list of common questions that are normally asked? Yes.

Couple of questions off the top of my head:

Is there an entry Fee? What is the cost if so? Is it per person or Per car?
Will there be food?
Cost of Food?
Will groups be allowed to park together in the lot?
How do I become a sponsor or vendor at the event?
Will the sale of goods by vendors be allowed since it is at Baysox and not UMD campus?

IF they have the proper state and county licenses to sell at one-day events. These permits must be displayed or they can be fined. If the vendor/sponsor can not produce/display these permits, then they can only be a showcase. MD sales tax must be collected and remitted. Make sure they are aware of that.

FAQ usually frequently asked questions which are questions that have been asked in the past and there is an answer to already. At least when I see "FAQ" that's what I see.

When you say "Standard Post" do you mean the post that will be put on the forums or another post that will outline the actual FAQs.... ?

Can we bring pop up tents? (this has been a no, but this is because we've been at UMD in the past)

So now the entrance fee is a canned item plus $1?? And it's 2 bucks if you don't bring a canned item? And $3 if you want to reserve spaces?

Shoulda put all that in bold, I bet a lot of people aren't even going to read the details on the flier.


Did you guys work out any sort of deal with the Baysox people on the food prices? Or are they going to be normal ball park prices of like $5 for a hamburger?

About the reservations: Do all groups submit the number of spaces wanted to be reserved on the 22nd? There's an accumulating number of people wanting to come from the maxima forums and I'm not sure when to submit the reservations

The entry fee is $1 AND a can of food or $2. $3 to reserve spaces for a group.
Food prices will be normal baysox prices.

In the past, CPT has sold bottled water - will this no longer be allowed?

I know that some schools have programs to partner with a local business temporarily and they get a small cut of any revenue generated by that event. Will CPT get any kickback from the stadium for the concession prices?

We are not allowed to sell water at baysox. Part of our contract with them says they have exclusive rights to food and drink.

We have talked about if they give $1 donations they may wind up with a bottle of water. But we dont want to piss off baysox.

I know the general admission is $2 but can the $3 reservation paid at the entrance as well? In addition, I'm assuming priority admittance is bypassing the line as well? I imagine this working by saying "I'm with so and so forums and have a space" but how is that verified

that kinda sucks about the food... one of our biggest revenue drivers for charity was food/drink sales. i guess we'll make it up a bit on higher ticket prices, but still... how does this affect your guys' balance sheets for money generated for next years' meet?

i noticed you said for the dyno only heavily modified cars, how strict are you on that? Like if you have spaces left would you sell the spots to people wanting to dyno

Just a heads up. Someone on the mdstreetscene forum was concerned that the entrance to the lot will make for a big backup without an officer or someone directing traffic. I haven't been to that stadium in a few years so I can't remember how it's laid out, but I just thought I'd let you guys know/give you something to think about to make sure things run smooth as possible. I'm not a CPT member but I really want this to be a successful meet. Hopefully I'll have my car on the road by then.
