so some dumbass hit my car...

yea so my car was parked outside of parkside and saturday night around 10:00 PM someone hit my car. and left a dent about the size of a bowling ball in my rear bumper. the person fled and left no information.

Luckily someone saw them do it and left the following note on my car for me to find

"We saw who hit your car last night at around 10 pm 7/10/10 it was an old honda license plate 9dfy26 a guy was driving and he looked like a drunk ass. he backed into it. Good luck =)"

so i called the cops immediatly. they came out and i filed a report and the officer ran the license plate giving me their name address and insurance provider.

long story short I talked to their insurance provider and wanted them to pay for the damages to my car. they contacted the owner. the insurance company then called me back saying the owner's daughter had admitted to being at the apartment that night and left but she didnt think she hit my car just got close(BULLSHIT... then dent was huge. the bitch was drunk) so she drove off. and then the followed up by saying that she had short hair which is why the witness thought it was a man driving.

this was enough to make me curious so I facebooked her. and this is the pic of her:

oh and in case your confused with the photograph.... its not a pic of a girl and her boyfriend. thats two Girls... and the one on the left is the one who hit my car. notice she isnt a man but is infact wearing a bikini top.

when i saw this i nearly died laughing!!! then i showed my roomates and 1 started to cry he was laughing so hard.

what you should get out of this story? always look on the bright side and try to find humor, because it makes a shitty situation slightly better LOL

there is only one aftermarket rear bumper that i like for the g35 which is the CS style. however it is only made in fiberglass... im afraid of fitment issues and cracking... however i talked with one of the venders on the G35 forum and they are just starting production of them with polyurathane. The first ones will be ready in 5-6 weeks and one of the first ones will be shipped out to me.
this is what it looks liek in fiberglass.

unfortunately they cant make it polyurethane with the carbon diffuser part because the carbon doesnt adhere well to the poly. so im just going to paint it black. and i might wrap the diffuser in Di-NOC.

But any how... now i have to live with the dent for 5-6 weeks anybody have any ideas how to make it humorous and /or not such an eye sore?

Park it out in the sun for a while and wait for it to get decently warm (shouldn't be too hard this time of year), reach up there and pop it out.

It might still leave a crease but it will look better.

i couldnt get my arm up there but i was able to fit a stick and i poked most of it out... its a lil lumpy but looks much better. i still would rather somethign funny though since the bumper is gonna be trashed anyway

sigh...first night in cp as well... Looks much better now. I threw a gloss black trunk on and have been slowly trying to get the rear quarter straight enough for a new tail light to go back in. then find some quotes and hope they don't bend me over to hard...

In a parking garage either the towers or the view... Called both places in the morning and theres not much to do. Instead I switched my spot to a tandem spot at the view so it'll be easier to protect the car and my friend will be the one parking infront/behind me.

Agreed it barely scuffed the bumper. Sucky thing is you can't exactly polish and buff a flat finish either so any scratches or scuffs will have to be repainted. Not sure how much money i want to keep sinking in this car. Or if I want to start saving for something new...If I could find a non turbo 5spd volvo for cheap I'd have a beater but all the cars that come up have been beat hard..
